A GIFT THAT ECHOES

BURLINGTON, Vt - It's said that it is better to give than to receive, but wouldn't it be great if you could do both? Now you can, with ECHO's Annual Pass Matching Gift program. Throughout this holiday season, whenever you purchase or renew an Annual Pass to ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center, at the Leahy Center for Lake Champlain, ECHO will give an Annual Pass to a low-income neighbor.

The Annual Pass Matching Gift is an ECHO's Open Door community access program, made possible through partnerships with social service agencies, an EPA matching grant, Comcast sponsorship, and individual donations.

An ECHO Annual Pass is $27 per adult; $24 per senior or college student; and $18 for a child, and grants unlimited admission, year-round. Annual Pass Holders also receive free admission to over 280 other science centers around the country.

To purchase an ECHO Annual Pass Matching Gift call 1-877-ECHOFUN; or go to echovermont.org and click on "You Give. We Give."; or, when visiting ECHO, simply ask the Front Desk staff.

ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center is located at the Leahy Center for Lake Champlain, on Vermont's Burlington Waterfront. ECHO features 70 species of live fish, amphibians, invertebrates, and reptiles, over 100 hands-on experiences, major traveling exhibits, and the multimedia Awesome Forces Theater. The 2.2 acre site is also highlighted by the Lake Champlain Navy Memorial, ECHO's Eclectic Gift Shop, and seasonal café. Open year-round, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Closed Christmas Eve & Day, and most Mondays in winter. Admission is $7-$9.50; children under 3, and K-12 classroom teachers with credential ID, are free. For more information visit echovermont.org; call 1-877-ECHOFUN; or write to ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain, One College Street, Burlington, VT 05401.
