What natural event encompasses every aspect of water...the weather! As Vermont's premier lake aquarium and science center located on Lake Champlain, weather plays an enormous role, both in and outside of our building.

That's why ECHO, NewsChannel 5, and U.S. Geological Survey have teamed up to provide exclusive weather data directly from the shores of Lake Champlain on the Burlington Waterfront.

Inside ECHO, you can explore the Be a Watershed Weather Reporter exhibit where YOU report the weather "on location" or visit Awesome Forces, a multi-media theater, that features the natural processes that transformed the Lake Champlain Basin.
